I enjoyed this camp very much and it was much more enriching and fun than I expected it to be. It was very well-planned and has both educational and fun elements in it. I got to know a lot of the members better and the workshops have also helped me gain relevant information about entrepreneurship. I realized entrepreneurship is not only making as much profits as possible, it actually involves many other important social skills. I enjoyed the API night trail the most! I did not really see the link between the night trail and entrepreneurship at first but after Mr Sek's explanation, I finally understand the significance of the night trail. It allows us to challenge our fears and helps to draw us out from our comfort zones. We see beyond our usual boundaries and that night, we took the step to venture into the unknown. I saw how there is really strength in numbers. All there lessons are invaluable to me and will always be kept in my mind.

One thing that requires improvement is probably the arrangement of activities. The string of talks on the first day and the continuous activities on the second day may be a little too much to handle for a day. Perhaps a mixture of activities and talks, for example, talk, games, talk? This is just a suggestion, I know it is rather hard to plan like that because the EXCO needs to take into consideration the availability of the speakers and the nature of the games. Seriously speaking, it was a great camp and there is nothing much that needs improvement. :)

I feel that it was very creative of the Exco to come up with those games to help us overcome our fears and train our leadership skills. Although the night games were scary, it was still an interesting experience. I am glad to have participated and worked as a team with the other entre council members. The games also helped in bonding the entree council members, especially between the j2 and j1 members. The leadership lectures given were also very useful in helping us develop our entrepreneurship skills. I particularly liked the lecture that Mr Mervyn Sek gave as he was very lively and made the lecture interesting by giving entertaining examples. On the whole, i think that it was a well planned and carried out camp. However, i heard from my friends that even though the steamboat was delicious, they could not really eat due to the food hunt in the afternoon. As a result, much of the steamboat food went to waste.

I am happy of:
1. Decent food. (Including the tasty wafers)
2. Learnt useful stuffs. (sponsorship)
3. Nice steamboat.
4. Sufficient breaks during camp.
5. Interesting mind-boggling and interactive talk by the speaker from National Library.

I am unhappy of:
Focused slightly too much on paranormal stuffs.
Suggestion: Instead of clue-do, we could have business games. (E.g. to go from station to station to gain ‘fake money’ and set up a ‘business’ that requires strategy)

I loved every moment of the camp mainly because i made friends with a lot more people and through this camp i had more time being together and socialing with them. I think all the activities of the camp are well planned and the exco really put in a lot of efforts of organize this[they are really really nice also^^]. I think more fun activities can be in place in the future to make this camp more exciting. Personally i feel that the number of talks on the first day can be reduced because many ppl are either not paying attention[spacing out], sleeping or simply excused themselves to engage in some other fun activities elsewhere in the college when the rest of us are the LT2. thats all!^^

The camp was enriching even though it was rather exhaustive. I have learnt many useful lessons during the camp which i believe will be vital to my character development in the future. Through the games, i have learnt that team work and co-operation are necessary in order to be successful. Despite several miscommunications during the games, we were able to resolve them and eventually managed to complete our tasks. Nevertheless, i felt that the camp can be more happening as there were breaks that were too long. Overall, i love this camp as it improves my relationship with other members of the entree council! :D

I think that the camp was great, though there was definitely room for improvement. I would like to commend on the smooth flow of the camp throughout. It was a well planned camp. The camp was an excellent time for bonding between members. The night trip and ‘Cluedo’ were interesting and surely new to many who hasn’t experienced them before. I fully understand that there are reasons behind it. I suggest you invoke some thinking in people prior to the activity you chose for them to participate or directly give the reasons/objectives for the activity if you wish to reduce the number of negative comments. I personally find that the talks chould be more interesting other than the one conducted by Mr Sek and they should be spread across 3 days. By concentrating a few in one day makes it boring. The standard of the food prepared during the camp can be improved.

I. Good Aspects:

1. Plan and management: The camp was well-planned and carried out with the help of the CCA’s Exco members only! That was really something that we should admire.

2. Meaningful activities: All activities were well planned and each of them gave participants useful lessons about entrepreneurship. The talks and workshops were really useful.

3. Interaction: The camp did extremely well in bonding the council’s members. They got to know each other better and this will definitely help improve the CCA’s performance in the future.

4. Safety: Some of the activities such as night trip were 'dangerous' as unfortunate events may occur anytime. The organizing committee has managed this very well and kept the members safe. :)

5. Cluedo: That was a really fun and exciting game for everyone. Everyone has a lot of fun and enjoyed themselves.

II. Aspects that need improvement:

1. Boredom: Some of the members complained that the talks and workshops were tedious. However, these activities were really helpful and informative.

Evaluation: We need to make them more interesting to the members by including more activities in it. For example, let participants go through a simulation of the process of asking for sponsorship. That will require more thinking, talking and discussion which may not be as tedious.

2. Pricing: Actually a fee of $15 per student is relatively reasonable. However, it would be even better if the price is lowered a little bit.

Evaluation: Theoretically, we need to ask for sponsorship to reduce the price of the camp. However, it is really hard to find a sponsor for our camp as it is an intra school activity and hence most companies would not be interested in sponsoring. We can reduce the price by asking companies to give us their 'expired' products for free or at a much lower price. For instance, we can ask Pilot to give us their old model series of pens, Giordano to sell their old model T-shirts at a lower price.

The Entrée Council June camp was really a fun and exciting activity for us. We enjoyed the time there and had fun with each other. It was really a time to remember!

The June Camp really made me open up and I got to know many Entree members better, especially the J1s. I felt the camp was able to make us bond and this is really important because the reason we were able to cooperate so easily during the O Games was because we were comfortable with each other. I definitely felt more a part of the council during the camp.

I felt that the first day was a bit too heavy with the talks. It would have been better if spread out on both days. Nevertheless, I felt the sponsorship talk was very informative and useful. I enjoyed all the activities especially the night activities. The EKA course was also very appropriate because it tested out analytical and creative skills and encouraged teamwork.

The Exco did a good job in organising the camp!(:

The days I spent in Entrée Council June Camp was enriching and fulfilling. During this period, I made many new friends, which in turn widened my social network, learnt a great deal of things, and most importantly, had the time of my life! Fun always seem to be omnipresent during this camp, and even during the lectures, we had fun bouncing off “crazy” ideas and arguing over certain issues. Not to mention the other activities, such as Food Junction, whereby participants have to race against time to different food havens and arrive at the final destination within the shortest time.

I am pretty glad that the camp included activities that tested the traits inherent in Entrée Council members, such as courage, determination and perseverance. The activity Night Heritage Tour, was enriching and an eye-opener for most of us students. Visiting the cemetery is definitely the last thing to do on my checklist. However, I got the chance to visit the sites and set my eyes upon the different haunted places in Singapore. It is enriching as I learnt a great deal about Singapore History, which indirectly strengthens the sense of belonging to the nation. It is ironical how our local people read up much more on the history of other countries such as France, and not knowing much about the place where they live in, the place where they call home. During the tour, we could also see fellow mates who claimed to be very brave, but shiver and look terrified when we are actually undergoing the tour. Likewise, we saw many others who appeared to be timid and cowardly, but in such times, they turned to be men of valor who possessed “brave” hearts. Hence, this is a great opportunity for us to see the true colors of our fellow mates, whether they are braggarts or not.

One aspect that I think requires improvement will be the lecture component. I feel that the lecture topics are very suitable for the Camp; however, I feel that the addition of another lecture topic “Writing a Business Plan” will make the Camp a more fruitful one. This is because we are encouraged to participate in Business-related competitions, however, without the necessary skills, how are we supposed to churn out a professionally written proposal? No doubt we can make use of the power of the Internet to look for sample proposals, but without actually having a solid foundation, don’t you agree that the proposal will not turn out as desired? Also, I propose that we can organize a Business Writing Competition, whereby participants have time off to do a proposal on PowerPoint from the end of 1st Day program till the afternoon of 2nd Day of Camp. On the 2nd Day, they are required to present their proposals to a panel of judges. Attractive prizes will be given to winners. Rather than having a 1-hour lecture and trying to make participants produce a proposal (Operation HOPE) in such a short time without proper foundation, we teach them the necessary skills and let them give it a go at writing a proposal.

I must say that the Entree Camp was the most enjoyable camp i have ever gone through. The planning was excellent and the activities were great.
The talks were very helpful in providing vital information and knowledge for the J1s who were new to entrepreneurship. The games and activities were well-planned as it unveiled the hidden potential in every member.
We had a good time staying together, and undergoing challenge and quest fostered a strong bond within the council.
The camp was not very long though exhaustingly fun. It could have been put a few days earlier so that everyone had time to rest and better prepare for the Family Day event.
Thank to the teachers and the exco for organizing this camp for us.
